SSC Recruitment: Staff Selection Commission Group B Recruitment, Apply Now 

Staff Selection Commission has released the recruitment notification for Group B posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Staff Selection Commission www.ssc.nic.in. Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer / Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translation Officer and Senior Hindi Translator / Senior Translator / Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) / Senior Translator (ST) will be appointed. Last date to apply is 12.09.2023.

Eligibility 

Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer / Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translation Officer: Candidates should have master's degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject. Or, Master's degree in English with Hindi as an elective subject. Or, in case of Master's in other subjects, Hindi and English subjects should be two elective subjects. Also, diploma or certificate course in English to Hindi and Hindi to English language should be done. OR Minimum 2 years of translation experience in Hindi to English and English to Hindi languages.

Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator/Senior Hindi Translator(SHT)/Senior Translator (ST): Candidates should have master's degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject. Or, Master's degree in English with Hindi as an elective subject. Or, in case of Masters in other subjects, Hindi and English subjects should be taken as two elective subjects. Also, diploma or certificate course in English to Hindi and Hindi to English language should be done. OR Minimum 3 years of translation experience in Hindi to English and English to Hindi languages.

Age Limit:

Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 1/08/2023 for both the posts. Age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Application fee

To apply here UR, EWS and OBC men have to submit application fee of Rs.100. Women/ SC /ST /PwD need not pay any application fee.

Candidates will be recruited here through Computer Based Test and Descriptive Test. The exam will be in English and Hindi.
